Keep it CleanAfter six hours of snow, ice and slush riding the Scalpel was looking decidedly worse for wear. Loyal to the Nth degree is its best characteristic, wherever I point it it’ll go without so much as a murmur. So a bit of post ride TLC is the least I can do to make sure it’s ready for its next onslaught of abuse.Now I could really show my gratitude by spending just as long cleaning as I did riding, but in all honesty where’s the fun in that? And with the right artillery you’ll be all washed up in less than 10 minutes (no lie). Here’s the secret… 1) Flash the bike over with Exhibit A whilst reflecting on a great day of riding. 2) Let the pink stuff work its magic before bringing the MAC Daddy Exhibit B out to play. 3) Watch the day’s grime fall to the patio before being swiftly blasted under the fence into next doors garden (shhh, you didn’t hear that). 4) Towel dry and finish with Exhibit C 5) Stand back and admire your handy work! Now if only it was as easy to clean up the rest of our sport... |
