This can be from a hard training session to the right fuel, ensuring that the body can keep working at its optimum capacity. Of course, when you go abroad you aren't necessarily able to get all your creature comforts, your usual cereal to kick start the day ready for the road ahead, and sometimes a compromise is needed.Whilst in Spain I was scouring the supermarket to pick up the essentials when I came across what looked to be a good ol' hearty loaf of bread. You can't go wrong with bread and jam if all else fails, can you? On closer inspection I was somewhat put off by the name though, 'Pan de Molde'. It just didn't seem quite as appealing after that, which got me thinking, how do the Spaniards go so fast with that in their belly? |
